We will notify you by email as soon as possible to confirm receipt of your order and send you a further email to confirm your details.Please note that neither amail is acceptance of your order. Our acceptance of your order will take place when we dispatch the product(s) to you.

Payment can be made by any method specified in the payment section.We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure,but, unless we are negligent, we cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unathorised access to information provided by you.

Cancellation and Returns. If your order is not manufactured to your instructions you have a right to cancel the contract, return the goods and receive either a full refund of your monies or replacement goods,(please note that 'special' instructions must be given in writing and confirmed by us)If you need to return goods, please contact us beforehand, telling us that you are returning the goods and why.

No returns will be made if the mistake is made by the customer.

Goods recieved damaged in transit will be replaced as soon as possible free of charge, to the same specifications as the original order.

Returns are made at the customers' expense, although we may waive this responsibility in certain circumstances.

Colours,shapes and sizes. The colour of goods may vary slightly from that shown on the website due to limitations of browser software and monitors.

Also colour variations are likely to occur due to the nature of natural materials used.

Irregular shaped plaques, may vary slightly from the samples shown.

All sizes quoted are approximate.

We reserve the right to alter customers lettering layout to maintain balance of design.

Where there is more text than the recommended number of characters,it will result in the font size being smaller in order to fit into the sign layout,this principial applies to all products,Timber signs,Pet-Tags,Brass Signs,Name-Badges & Motif Signs.This is also the case if you require 3 lines of text on the A3L,AH5L Oak,Teak or A3D.

Note Some text fonts condense more than others, as a a result depending on the amount of characters the font size height might have to be marginialy reduced in size in order to fit it into sign layout.This can be seen clearly on the Font selection picture.

It is the customers responsibility to advise us of any maximum or minimum dimensions at the time of order.

Fermoy Signs shall not be liable for any delay in delivering your products should the delay be caused by circumstances beyond our control. These circumstances include war, riot, civil war, civil commotion, malicious damage, compliance with any law or government order, rule, regulation or direction, fire, flood, storm or act of God, failure of ISP or telecommunications provider in connection with the fulfilment of purchases.

We may change any part of these terms and conditions. It is the responsibility of the customer to check if changes have been made. Your continued use of this website after changes have been made will constitute your acceptance of the changes to these terms

Fermoy Signs reserves the right to remove or add products to the online shop at any time.

Failed Deliveries. All orders whether 'Free delivery' or 'Charged for' delivery refer to an order being sent to a given address once only.

Consumer Rights. None of the above Terms and Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights

Sign Maintenance

We recommend that timber signs get a coat of a good quality varnish or oil depending on the existing finish every year to maintain apperance.The sign should get a light sanding of sandpapper before applicaion of finish.

Every sign that leaves Fermoy Signs gets five coats of International Marine varnish,which is highly durable one- part polyurethane gloss varnish & Contains HALS and UV absorbers for superior UV resistance.

Brass signs will need regular cleaning because once exposes to the elements it will tarnish.Also we would recommend that the backing board be maintained with a good exterior varnish annually.

Production Times

Timber Signs: 12 working days.

Designer Pet Tags: Order processed within 48 hours,could take up 2 to 5 working days for delivery depending on Location.

Brass Signs: 16 Working days

Namebadges: Order processed within 48 hours,could take up 2 to 5 working days for delivery depending on Location.

Motif Signs: 15 Working Days

County Clocks: Orders are processed within 48 hours, Delivered within 12 working days.

LEGAL DISCLAIMER.

Fermoy Signs will not be held responsible for any injuries or accidents that may occur to any person when wearing shoe crampons that they purachsed from Fermoy Signs. Crampons are only an Aid & care & caution should still be applied from persons wearing Crampons in Icey & Snow Conditions.

*Care should be taken when putting on crampon not to over stretch it this could result in losening the spikes.

*There is no refund if Spike it lost as a result of this.
